What are decisions?The rma.net web site contains a database of all Environment Court decisions released to date under the Resource Management Act 1991. rma.net usually receives decisions the week they are issued. The database also contains a number of relevant High Court, Court of Appeal and Privy Council decisions, sentencing notes from District Court prosecutions, and various decisions of the Planning Tribunal made under earlier legislation. These decisions are stored in the format acceptable for production in the Environment Court. The database can be searched by summary information of decision title, number, jurisdiction, panel or type of proceedings. Subscribers - both Full and Casual - can also search for words or phrases occurring within decisions. Return to Top |
